The History of Love - Nicole Krauss

Poetic, funny, astonishing, surprising, touching.... a story of love and loss at all ages. 3 characters tell their story - from their point of view and with their voice. Which gives us 3 completely different styles - from the child to the old man where you can almost hear the Yiddish accent when reading. Brilliant!

PS! Jeg elsker dig - Cecelia Ahern

    • Danish
    • July 2007
    • Original title: Ps, I love you
    • 485 pages
Very easily read just after my vacation in Denmark. I did weep a tear once in a while though - but I also laughed a lot - much better when reading in the tramway than crying. It also reminded me of the souvenir I would have loved to find after my father's death. Maybe we should all prepare a little something for the people left behind? I know I would have appreciated it....

The Moment You Were Gone - Nicci Gerard

    • English
    • July 2007
    • 480 pages

A nice comfy read - a normal story from life. But with some interesting twists to it - and very human.

Ne le dis à personne - Harlan Coben

    • French
    • Read in July 2007
    • Originial title: Tell No One
    • 430 pages
    • Dansk titel: Sig ikke noget
I believe I am done with Mr. Coben for the moment. Lot of the same characters as in his previous novels, and the plot was not that great. Easily read - but easily forgotten as well.
